Katie Betcher
Hi, I'm Katie the sole-owner of my hair business Gloss, and Glow! I'm Portland born and raised and moved to Vancouver early 2025, and couldn't be loving it more. Siren is my Salon home where I operate my services out of, and I couldn't be happier to be part of such an awesome group and beautiful space to work in. (My Instagram is covered with all kinds of info that makes Siren such a special place!)
My goal as a hairstylist is for clients to feel like my chair is an equally fun and relaxing space, where they can walk out the door feeling more confident and refreshed then when they arrived. When you come in for an appointment, I'm happy to meet you where you are and what you need that day. If you need to get a little bit of work done, or simply relax for a bit while getting your self-care in, I’m more than happy to make that happen too.
My most requested services are haircutting, blonding, and pops of vivid color, but I enjoy a range of services and love to collaborate on something that feels like yourself and realistic for your lifestyle.
The space I work in
I choose to work within Siren Salon due to the client and community focus. Siren hosts regular events to stay connected with locals, facilitate clothing/food drives, and offers products and retail that are with everyone’s health in mind. We participate in a refill hair program, as well as non-tox household ingredients to avoid big box chemicals and support small businesses where it matters.
Siren is also completely owned and supported by women. Siren is comprised of multiple women all owning their own businesses, and provides a space where myself and others can comfortably be ourselves, while having genuine care for anyone who walks in the door.
